The Fit for Life Diet
Fit for Life is a diet and exercise lifestyle by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond, and one of the fastest selling books on the topic in the century. It promotes eating fruit alone in the morning, and not combining carbohydrates with proteins. It has roots in the teachings of Natural Nutrition.
Despite its popularity, it has received some critizism from dietitians and health critics for espousing pseudoscientific theories, aimed at the metaphors used of the body being 'cleansed', or 'clogged', and a variety of other claims that are inconsistant between comparisons.
